So, I have a thing for vintage sheets.
Sometimes, the ones I come across are lovely except for some minor imperfections. A while back, I shared a trick I learned to remove stains.
Pilling is something else I often find on otherwise perfectly pretty vintage sheets.
Did you know you can use a fabric shaver to clean up your sheets, just like you do with your favorite sweaters?
I just iron mine and lay them on a flat surface, and then let the fabric shaver do the work! It works well on mildly pilled sheets, and I have had good luck even with moderately pilled sheets. Sometimes, however, there is just too much wear on that pretty old fabric, and I just have to resign myself to letting it go.
Now I'm off to the studio to straighten up after the holiday madness. Happy Thursday to you!
