I've been a busy bee, working on updating all of my vintage sheet prints to the shop. I feel like I've been working on it in every spare minute. I still need to photograph and upload the pillowcases, as well as sort through another bin of sheets. But I the end is in sight, and it feels good.
In these last weeks of summer break, I'm enjoying slower days with my girl. We've been taking weekly trips to the river to visit my grandfather and play in the sand and water.
I'm still working on a tutorial for the greta skirt - hopefully I'll have it up in the next couple weeks. I'm also fiddling around with a new style of tutu for my aspiring ballerina. While the one I made for her for Christmas was awfully cute, it has gotten fairly mangled during this third year of doing everything by myself {thankyouverymuch}.
Also, we're getting ready to transition Thea's room into one more suited for our bright, curious three year old, and I'm having so much fun dreaming and planning for her sweet little room. Without a doubt, there will be lots of orange - she wouldn't have it any other way.
And in the business of getting the shop running again, I'm trying to be gentle with myself, and to remember that wearing myself out won't do anyone any good. And I'm doing my best to stay present. A dificult task indeed. But your life is your practice, right?
I hope this week is treating you well! xo

Second square from the bottom, second from left was my bedroom sheet pattern from about 1972 - 1980. What fun to see it here!
