Can you believe that I've never gone straight to the pumpkin patch to pick my own pumpkin? Our orange loving girl has been talking about pumpkins for weeks, so this weekend, we headed to the Ashland Berry Farm for the full experience.
We started out with a hayride to the pumpkin patch, where Thea proceeded to try to pick up every single pumpkin in sight.
We finally settled on a few small ones, and she insited on carrying her own.
While we waited for the hayride back to the main farm, we watched everyone practice piling their pumpkins into their arms for the "all you can carry" deal. She was so excited that she wanted to get in on the fun.
We ended our afternoon with a romp through the (very muddy!) corn maze. I'm sure John and I were quite the sight trying to make our way through the child-sized tunnels without becoming totally covered in mud. Let me tell you, my legs haven't been that sore in years!
It was such a fun day, and I hope the start to a new family tradition.
Happy Tuesday, friends!
